The event hosted its satellite shows Rubber (rubber supply chain), 3D Plast (3D printing and related), PlastMat (innovative materials) and a wide range of latest-generation technological solutions. The presence of 1,323 exhibitors, 47% of which came from abroad, reaffirmed the fair&#8217;s international character, a figure that is even more significant considering that many Italian branches of foreign manufacturers were registered as Italian companies.<\/p>\n\n<p>The pavilions welcomed visitors from 109 countries, with an international share of 30%. Europe represented the largest share (64%), followed by Asia (20%), Africa (7.58%), America (7.56%) and Oceania (0.75%). A significant contribution to the event&#8217;s internationalization was made by the approximately 300 buyers coordinated by ICE &#8211; the Italian Trade Agency.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goals and prospects for Plast 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Plast<\/strong> will return <strong>from 9 to 12 June 2026<\/strong> to the <strong>Fiera Milano<\/strong> exhibition centre in Rho, and exhibitor <strong>registration<\/strong> will open in <strong>March 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Mario Maggiani, General Manager of Promaplast, the company organizing the event, stated: &#8220;To address the increasingly challenging industry, it is essential to adopt innovative and creative strategies. Plast 2026 will be held concurrently with Xylexpo, the biennial international exhibition dedicated to woodworking and furniture industry technologies, allowing free movement of visitors between the two fairs. This synergy is particularly important given the complementarities between the sectors: for example, some woodworking centers are also used in the processing of plastics and other materials. Our determination and confidence in the trade fair sector allow us to once again offer a benchmark event for the plastics industry in an increasingly competitive international trade fair landscape.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>Plast 2026 aims to reaffirm its central role in the plastics and rubber sector, offering exhibitors and visitors an unmissable opportunity for training, innovation, and business.
